  • Montreal: The discovery clears up
Since I arrived to Montreal during May I could live through something of the climatic changes that this country can have, let's be honest I did not enjoy the cold of-40 grades but when I arrived the weather was cold and it was raining enough, the commercial centers were still using the heating which was very warm for my...
  • The soccer is a religion
I could not imagine my life in a different way, a life without soccer would not be amusing, I believe that it wouldn’t be worth of being. This sport is for us a mix of hobby, fanaticism, passion, love, hate, satisfaction and deception.         I do not know another sport that it gathers...
  • The obstinate cholo Oblitas
How can we forget the most rejected of the technical directors that Peruvian selection had, the obstinate cholo Oblitas who won the gold medal in my personal ranking because not only because he was the most criticized of all, but also because it was the best paid or in this case it is better to say the best maintained of...

One year has already passed since Susana Villarán began its administration as Lima’s mayor, she arrived to the town hall with many promises and although it was not of the election of many of us, we all had hopes that the progress would continue during her administration, besides she would be also the first woman mayor in Lima...
  • The Metropolitano
The Metropolitano perhaps is one of the most expensive and awaited projects of public transportation of all time, I believe that it is not for less since the expectation created around it and what it means for Lima and its inhabitants, both have contributed to create an atmosphere with mixed  feelings and opinions...
  • Cadiz so beautiful
Small but at the same time warm city, charming and nostalgic, with such a special air that from the first time that I visited it, has been in the list of my favourite cities. Don't expect to find anything spectacular, neither big buildings, neither extravagant things, this city doesn't have them, on the...

The Pisco and I have a history of good memories, anecdotes and celebrations, it is not for less because it is the typical drink of Peru. When I met you I didn’t imagine we would become so good friends. We talked  some 3 times by telephone before my arrival to the AFPA,  we didn’t meet till 10 or 11 days later my arrival, I believe we only exchanged some words, however when I needed somebody to help me you did it without demanding anything. I am really grateful Patrick because you were like a father to me.

I will never forget the way you helped me, always looking for information, giving me a lift and assisting me to redact my letters… and of course your pain when I had to leave.

You always care for me, to brought me for the first time to the disco and introduced me to some friends.

Thank you Patrick, I really wanted to make a hike with you, it is a pity, maybe it will be for the Peruvian Andes. You know you’ll be always welcome at home, for me it will be a pleasure to make you discover my country.

We didn’t lose the war Patrick, someday I will come back and we are going to say together that we won, that all that people who believed we would lose were mistaken. I will win the war Patrick I promise it!

Patrick
