When I found this guy for the first time I didn’t believe we would become so good friends, but I was mistaken because the “little Janick” who looks like an 18 years old child (as per some guests) became one of my best friends in Villa Marlioz. He is a wonderful host who is sensitive to any situation; he is a real machine of ideas.

As singer he surprised me because “the exclusive artist of Villa Marlioz” sings in Spanish and with no accent that was one of the reasons which made me help him translating songs from French and English to Spanish. I find very admirable the touch of magic that he can gives to lyrics, it is only necessary that he understand the idea to make pieces of jewelry, over all because he tries to do things that doesn’t belong to his culture.

I remember that in one opportunity we had to make a guided tour together, it was in the forest and I didn’t know the way so I had only to escort Janick who was the one in charge of the group, but as he was very busy he gave me the map with instructions about the way to follow and then he wished me good luck. So I told him “you are really bad with me, I will inform report:  that they leave me alone to make the guided tours without showing me the path in advance” but he retorted me “No Henry, on the contrary, you have to say that we trust you a lot and thanks to that we give you very quick RESPONSABILITES according to your skills”

In other opportunity I had to make other guided to the Chambotte, my supervisor on duty suffered an accident and Janick didn’t know the path, in fact that day my supervisor on duty and me were supposed to check the path first in order to do it with Janick in the afternoon. So I had to do it with Janick without knowing the path, at the beginning of the tour a guest says that in her last guided tour in other region, the courier was lost with the whole group, so Janick answered her: “Madame that happens when couriers are not responsible, they don’t check the path first and don’t know anything about what they do”… I was laughing in fact Janick knew how get by very well.

I still use the French cap of pretentious guy that you gave me as gift, we didn’t have the opportunity of making the tour of stores in Annecy to know where I could buy clothes that improve my style, it is a pity.

Thanks to you I did my conference about Peru, he gave me ideas and ways to follow; he corrected my mistakes and always encouraged me to continue. Thank you very much Janick because thank to that I could get my certificate, you trusted in me and in all what I did, we got along each other very well in and out of the job, my friend the doors of my home will be always opened for you, you can visit my country whenever you want, I will help you and if I am elsewhere we will stay in touch so we could visit each other.

I know that now you will begin a different life, far from Villa Marlioz, finally you’ll be an independent artist, I really wish you a good luck my friend, someday we will end our job translating songs and we will laugh together as we did in Aix-les-Bains.
